Class Poem

That time of year has come again,

That every senior must always face.

The farewells to our friends are said,

As we leave this lovely place.

The thanks are many we owe our school,

For guiding along the way.

And we know as long as we shall live,

Our school we never could repay.

We all remember our sophomore year,

With all things bright and new,

But little did we stop to think,

The end would soon be in view.

By our junior year, we knew the school,

And we became more calm.

We will never forget that wonderful year,

With the junior-senior prom.

Then mighty seniors we did become,

We realized now and know.

That school days are so very short,

For soon it's time to go.

But as we go to higher learning,

Whether training school or college.

We'll never forget that good old place,

From which we got our knowledge.

We'll never forget the times we had,

Within these sturdy halls.

As we tried to stick together,

Each fro one and one for all.

So as we leave our friends behind,

And the years go passing by,

May we always strive and work

To try to keep our standard high.

And once again we thank our school,

For giving us the best.

And as we leave these solemn halls,

We salute our B.H.S.
